Installing bushings at bell crank
Bushings at the accelerator plate and mechanism in the rear of the car were shot, so I pulled the plate and cleaned out the errant bushings. Can't figure out how to press the new bushings into place. Will i need a press, or can this be done with hand tools? thanx steve ('74 Carrera)

Hand soap and a c-clamp. If they don't fit shave them down a bit with sand paper.

Looks like you have the 914 part used on the bell swivel on the trans
You want the 901 part number, it just slides in, no problem Bruce |

Bruce, you're correct!! I have the 914 number, but can't find the correct 901 part number on Pelican. Can you let me know what the correct number is? Greatly appreciated. Great not to fight with this. thanx again. steve

Try 901 423 253 00, that should be the right number.
