Source for unswitched +12v under dash

I’m replacing the electric antenna in my ‘73 and I’m hoping to clean up the wiring while I’m at it.

For the old antenna, the wire for the un-switched +12v went into the frunk and connected to the battery.

All the wires from the new antenna come in under the dash. I can route the wire that needs un-switched +12v into the frunk, but I’d rather not if I can avoid it. Is there a handy source for un-switched +12v under the dash?

12-volt source.......

What did you mean “unswitched 12-volt”? Were you talking about “unfused” or direct power line from the battery? The red cable to the ignition switch comes directly from the battery and no fuse in between. And if you look closely to your wiring diagrams, there are several locations were you could find hot wire. Use a test light.

I mean a 12v source that’s fused, but always On whether the ignition is on or not.

I'm confused why you want a constant 12V supply for an antenna.

It powers the motor that raises and lowers the antenna. There’s a lead from the radio that signals the antenna to raise or lower when you turn the radio on or off or if you switch the ignition off. In order to operate the antenna, with the ignition off, the motor needs an un-switched power source.

Passenger side cowl area (access through the trunk) has a Black wire with a white/black coming off of it to the trunk light circuit. (Continues at the connector to your dome lamp(s)
It is fused for the clock, dome lamps and trunk light(s).

Beautiful! That’s directly above where the wire comes in from the antenna, so easy to fish.
I just made a three way connector to be able to connect the antenna. Best part is that it can be put back the way it was originally if someone wants to. Thanks much!
