quick answer needed

Hi there,

I'm refiiting my rear bumper (911 carrera 1985 coupe). What I want to know is this: with the bumper of the car I see a little rim of metal just under the taillight.
When I install the bumper and the bellows should the upper lip of the bellow be in front of the rim or behind? So if installed, should I see a piece of rubber (upper lip of the bellow) just under the taillight or should I see a piece of metal?

I believe I see rubber on my rear bumper (under the tail light).
