P.s. Regarding the private number plate.....

Up here in Scotland, that number plate would cause you to get stopped by every Traffic Police Car that spotted you. They do not tolerate any misinterpretation or spacing issues of number plates. They are very strict on this issue.

Personally i don`t think B1 OME will be such a big loss :)

So have you taken the plunge McRod?

For what it's worth, the Cab featured in the February edition of 911 & P World is for sale now....but it's white.

911 Carrera 3.2 Sport Cabriolet 1989 (F), 76K miles, FSH, black leather, cruise control, air con, £16,995. 01327 350940

The magazine features it against a 928. They only chose the Cab because it was in such good condition apparently. (they would have preffered a coupe to compare)

Heya Chris,

I ain`t taken the plunge just yet but i`m on the verge.

So far, with a little help from Dickster, we`ve seen 2 really nice examples. A nice slate grey one in Reading, and a nice Baltic Blue one in Tadworth Surrey.

I have found another one advertised close to Dickster again which he is going to try to find some time to go and look at.

The description of this 3rd one sounds very appealing. 1989, Silver Grey, 3 Owners, 55,000 miles, FSH, Immaculate etc, so obviously its worth a look.

When Dickster is able to get a look at this 3rd one, i`ll post up the info and details on all 3 of them for a census of opinion before taking the leap.

Cheers

McRod

p.s. How you feeling for the match tomorrow?. I doubt i`ll get much sleep tonight :(

Yep. nervous about the game. Hopefully Mr De Boer will be back and we can finish the league off.

What work did the shop do for 24,000 miles? If it was just oil and tune you should be fine. If you'll feel better, have it tuned and adjusted and you're good to go. If there did some major work I dig a little and then make a decision.
