Project Elephant - Body in white (White Elephant)

Finally. These are the pictures people like to see. The shell has been sprayed with sealer.

This feels like real progress.

I was expecting the sealer to turn up more imperactions that needed attention. This was a lucky turn because there are only a couple minor issues that need to be addressed.

The deadline is approaching fast. Provided the assembly moves quickly I still think Monterey can happen.

Hey Chuck, the project looks great. I read you web site. Your uncle's advise on achieving perfection is so true. I've determined that the only way to get my RSR replicar project ready for Monterey is to accept a "lower standard of perfection". So...I've resigned to the fact that I will not make Monterey. I'd be happy to put in some time helping you out assembling the car (and learning a few things along the way). I'll give you a call.

excellent progress

i'm no expert with a paint gun, but definitely one of the best moments is spraying on the colour coat.

Great progress! It must be a good feeling when the car is in primer. I should be there in a few more weeks. I wish I could move as quickly as you are.
