Replating of Calipers...
 

I've got my caliper halves sandblasted and am now looking at finish.

I'd love to get them Cadmium plated to appear original.

Also, if plated, do the bores and passages get plated too? I don't see a way NOT to replate the bores as the entire piece is submerged in the plating tank.

Also, does it effect piston fit?

Dallas Eurocars will be able to point you in the right direction. I was talking to someone there regarding some sheet metal and he mentioned that they send all their engine fasteners to a local shop for replating while they are rebuilding engines. The replating shop has been there for a while and has been grandfathered, so new environmental laws don’t apply. I think I spoke with Tim or Tony. Sorry for the vague information, but that’s all I can remember.

Most likely, you will want to completely dissassemble the calipers into seperate pieces. The surfaces you don't want plated can be masked with a special tape which will prevent that surface plating...

If your cylinder bores get plated, yes it will affect piston fit and yes it will be rather difficult to get the plating removed so the pistons slide nice.
