VDO clock little wheel fell off
I have a VDO quartz clock that was running but the hands didn’t move. I took it apart and the wheel was laying loose inside. Any help in getting this back where it’s suppose to be?

Looks like the gear is broken. This is the typical failure on these old clocks. Here is a picture of the gear installed and it's hard to see but there should be a pin on both ends of the gear that key into the top and bottom plates.

Yep.. VDO only used that quartz movement for a year or 2 before they switched to the one they used through 89. Unfortunately those 74/75 clocks with that movement have this issue. Find a later 76-on clock and other than the capacitors they go for a long time. I can look and see if I have a spare one if you decide to go that route.
