Help - Sourcing OE 2 Pin electrical connectors

Hello,

I’m trying to find original electrical connectors like the ones pictured (2 pin). I have searched without success. Are they available new? Or does any one have a stash of them they’d sell?

Hi, The female spade connectors in side the plastic housing are removable. There is a locking tab holding it in. They can be released by using a heavy pin to release the tab. You can purchase the female spade connectors at belmetric.com measure the side of connectors to get the right size. Also you need a open barrel crimping tool you can find then on Amazon.

I bought this same connector a short time ago at Digi - key

Part numbers
180907 - 5 - female receptacle
180908 - 5 - male receptacle
42100 - 1 - male pin
42460 - 1 - female pin
The metal pins need to be connected to your wire ends and then snapped into the plastic connectors.

The PETs for the 89 Carrera have a listing of electrical connectors starting at Illustration: 902-50.

815-971-989-A Connector housing 6,3
111-971-986 Flat plug with Clip 6,3 x 2,5

I have ordered from digikey before. Great source. I struggle to find the part I need but you nailed it! I’m gonna try to cancel my order with British electric.
