Steering Wheel ID

Folks, need your help here. I pulled this wheel from my '74 911 with the intention of going Prototipo so this will likely be going up for sale shortly. Based on my research on this site I believe this is a concentric Sport version but given the 4" rim diameter it may be a "fatty".

Any input on specs would be great as well as thoughts on current market value. Thanks in advance.

Definitely a hub-centric "FATTY"!!! I would get it the proper stitching and put it back on!

Looks like it.
Can you shoot a pic without the horn pad?

Restoration all in including restoring the wheel as you have some corrosion or something could reach $600 easy. Do the math.

Is the rim diameter what makes it a fatty? or are there other tell signs?

All the fat rimmed wheels have that thick steel plate center, but not all thick plated center wheels have a fat rim.
The later stamped sheetmetal centered wheels have only thin rims.

Don't mean to hijack the thread but would this one be considered a fatty? Came off my 74 diameter of the ring is 3 5/8 on the finger indentations, it has no leather cover

What’s the 3 digit date stamp? I think every single late 73-74 3-spoke wheel is a fatty if I’m not mistaken. They exist after as well but as special order I believe

Thanks for the reply, heres a picture I just took, seems like it should have a number stamped over the 33? Apart from the 33 I can only see a 914 over the spline, my 911 is far from stock, the car was fully converted to a 930 look I believe using a real 930 as donor so maybe the wheel came from that one also?

914 so 14th week of 1979 so not an symmetrical or hub centric wheel but maybe still a fatty. I’m thinking a 4” circumference wheel missing it’s leather may be closer to 3.80” but I’m not certain

Rim circumference, not diameter. And the valuable wheels seem to be the symetrical ones.
