Control Arm choices... Dansk vs URO
Pulled my control arms on my '71 and found some rust issues so I've got to get new control arms.
I saw our host sells URO and Dansk. Anyone have experience with the two? What are the differences? They come with the bushings already installed too which is a plus. Just need the ball joints installed. Thanks! |
I put Dansk in Project Heavy Metal and was quite pleased with the quality.

URO Parts offers 911 341 903 00 and 911 341 904 00 for 1969-76 cars with through-body sway bar and U-tab mount. Control arms 911-341-901-01 and 911 341 902 01 for the later cars were discontinued due to low sales (sales didn't justify doing another production run of each), but retailers still have some on the shelf.
The complete control arm assemblies have standard-durometer bushings, so performance-minded folks would probably be better off installing firm aftermarket bushings (such as our kit 901 341 421 02KHD) on their original arms. |
Another option is the Rennline (Prekom) control arm. They offer the arms with standard and sport rubber bushings. I have not used these but have used the Prekom sport/racing drop links for my 87 Carrera. They are several years old and working great.

I used the Rennline trailing arms w/ sport bushes, they work well

P.S. They're less expensive when purchased in URO boxes. |

Unfortunately we've discontinued these control arms due to low sales, but it looks like Pelican has some left:
