I need to replace the bulbs in the gauges on my 1978 911SC. I can get the gauges out of the dash easy enough, but does anyone have a trick for pulling out the bulbs?
I tried a small screwdriver in addition to trying to pull them straight out, but nothing will budge and I am afraid of breaking the housing. Thanks! |

I think they are push-in and twist if memory serves.

Pry under the metal lip. They come straight out.... no twisting.
Recommend the LED bulbs. Much brighter.

Check out the LED’s instrument bulbs at Carmagic.
Carmagic, LED Lights for Classic Porsches They made a significant difference to my night driving experience...I can actually read all the gauges again! 👍
