1979 3.0 SC Bosch ignition coil marked 1 and A
Hi all,
Ive searched long and hard for the answer. My Bosch 0 221 121 001 started weeping oil, time to replace. For the electrical connections it is marked with a 1 and a - on one side and on the other side it is marked A. Which is + and which is -. Im presuming the side 1 and - is minus, however there is a brown going to that side, and for the one marked A that wire is white/cream. Does that sound right, and again, which is + and which is - Thanks, Mark |

A goes to the CDI, and 1 is the ground, or -.

Thanks Trackrash. Makes sense but wanted to be sure. I guess when its in situ and all wired up I should be able to meter from 1- side to a ground point somewhere and get continuity.

I am guessing the A means that is the connection for terminal A on the CDI.
