Interior lights / door switch
corrosion on the door switches is the reason the interior lights did not turn on when opening a door. But I am unable to turn on either light when the doors are closed, I try pressing or “toggling” the light itself ...nothing! Nothing in ANY of the three positions.
Is it the bulb? It there a specific bulb? What else could it be? Thanks |

Once you confirm power at/to the light receptacle, suspect you'll find corrosion on the recepitcle's contact -- should be pretty easy to see/clean/recondition and shouldn't require replacement.

Take the bulb out and check its continuity. You can do this by using a voltmeter on the continuity setting and attach the negative to the surrounding base of the bulb and the positive to the end of the bulb.
