This IS the voltage regulator, right? (1985 911)
Pulled my alternator to correct over voltage condition (>17 volts). I wanted to confirm that I have the right part identified as the regulator. Sorry for the poor focus, markings are:
Paris-Rhone Made in France YH2700 14V G88 Was surprised to see this unit integral with the brushes for the alternator shaft on the inside. But I really don't see anything else from the inside of the alternator that could be the regulator. Thanks for the help! Brian
