911 sunroof. Bulletproof or fragile? Maintenance?
Now that it's Fall, I've been opening the sunroof every time I drive. Many other enthusiast cars to have horrific sunroof reputations, and I tend not to touch the sunroof on my other cars.
I've not often heard this mantra on Pelican. In my mind, it feels like the 911 sunroof mechanism is simple and solid. Is the 911 sunroof known to be either particularly bulletproof or particularly fragile? I do not know the names of any sunroof parts, so does anyone have photos with arrows of where one should add grease for sunroof maintenance?

Rock solid. Mine came with the sunroof inop, I followed a few threads on here and it has been working like a champ since. Sometimes the cables need a recrimp where they go into the sunroof sliderthingy. $0.00 cost, little dab of JB weld, recrimp in the vise, solid.

Mine needed the sunroof transmission replaced, which was very easy once I figured that out (less simple).
Worked like a champ since.
