3.2 fuel injection overhaul, what to replace...

i cracked a fuel line in the green car, so i have the intake off. shipping the injectors off to RC to get serviced and replacing and cleaning anything in there that needs it while it's off. bone stock 3.2 motor with SSI's, no smog equipment.

so, how far should i reasonably go? i'm planning to order a full set of the mason engineering fuel lines, gaskets, intake manifold flanges, throttle body base gasket, AFM gasket so far.

i also plan to clean everything up while it's off, no plans to disturb the AFM or ICV, just clean what i can.

again, reason for the service is a broken fuel line, but i've been looking to service the injectors for some time as i have a slightly high idle, a bit of hunting on occasion when it's cold, and crappy low RPM throttle response. a steve wong chip helped those issues a couple years back, but not completely fixed. vacuum lines look good, although it looks like one port on the back of the throttle body is open.

am i missing anything?...

Sounds like you have everything covered. When I did my injectors and intake gaskets, I also replaced the AFM intake boot, the oil breather lines, the triangle of death gaskets/o-rings and any worn vacuum lines.

Agreed, I think you have covered almost everything.

I would also remove the throttle body bleed screw for cleaning. Following spraying carb cleaner through the ports, I decided to disassemble the idle bleed portion of the throttle body. I'm glad I did since it was still very dirty.

The protective cap which is broken during removal is still available, 930-110-520-00.

I needed to research this before replying.

Yes, you are missing Item 30 hose 4 x 9 mm length 830 mm. This may be causing some of your running problems.

that appears to be correct. i'll double check when i'm at the shop later today, but the recirculating air valve has been removed. i reckon i'll just to cap the unused port on the thermo valve?...
