Wayne's book says 30 ft*lb.

Are you driving the car in the Winter? I leave 20w50 Penn Grade in the car but don't drive it once the roads get salty/sandy.

I use M1 15W-50 year round in my high altitude southwest climate.

I tighten the drain plugs to one 'unh' and use 20W50 down to about 30-35F, below which I don't drive the car.

Winter driving.. not much

I like driving in winter ONLY if it’s dry.. but not very often... you like 20/50 all year round? Synthetic?
Thanks

just responded to your other post on this topic -- Synthetic oil change for the northeast

be sure to replace the crush washers on both drain bolts whenever you change your oil and make sure you have a drain pan that can hold/contain the 2 gallons of oil that will flow out of the oil tank when you pull its drain plug.
