Bitz racing MS2 efi
Has anyone installed the bitz racing MS2 efi kit using the EDIs unit. Just got my kit today.
Just looking for some feed back http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1602114872.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1602115027.jpg |
So, you bought an EFI kit, but are looking for feedback on said kit, after you bought it?? That should have been a question you asked before spending your hard earned cash!
Or, am I not understanding the question right, and you are looking for advice on how to install, wire, etc of this particular kit? |
I believe He is asking if anyone has experience/tips installing EDIS with the BITZ kit using MS2.
The Bitz kit is very straightforward for EFI fuel only. |
So are you converting the Bitz MS1 to a MS2 daugter board and adding ignition capability?
In the past ( I don't know the current situation) Tony would not completely install the components to drive ignition. You will need to carefully check your board to determine if these are all present for the circuitry needed to drive EDIS. Additionally, there was no ignition output wire needed to drive the EDIS controller ignition input. You will need to check the harness and add the wire to the db37 connector. This also means changes are required to get a 36-1 toothed wheel and VR pickup signal to the EDIS controller. The stock Bitz wiring schematic will require some changes to get the EDIS connected. Now, once connected EDIS works great. And Tony has great base maps to get your fuel delivery started. |
What does the label on the ECU say?
I see the writing on the big box says MS2 CPU, does that mean it is an MS2 unit or an MS1 with MS2 extra software installed. Need more information on what you have. |
So, Tony has finally run out of MS1? I think they're still quite functional, but not many left if available.
Did the kit actually come from Bitz? - I see his special bungs for the injectors. |
