Is there a DIY for removing/installing the RH Intake manifold?

I no longer have my Bentleys - long story.
Is there a DIY for R/R the right hand side intake manifold? Torquing specs, etc? Procedure for re-install?

Thanks - I wasn't able to find anything specific in the search - but maybe I didn't type in the right thing.

D'oh! I'm sorry. This is an 85 Carrera 3.2

There is really no need for detailed instructions.

1. Remove air filter box and the MAF
2. Reach back and detach all fuel regulation components from the intake runners
3. Use a long allen socket (8mm I think) to reach down and loosen all intake manifold nuts
4. Disconnect the large hose interconnect between right and left side manifold
5. Lift manifold up and out

Replace gaskets on the way back.

I would not go tighter than 20Nm on the way back.

Sounds good. Thanks.

I pulled the intake manifold on the right side... Came out easily.

So is there a gasket + spacer + gasket on each one? So I need to buy 6 gaskets and 3 spacers, or can the spacers be re-used?

Also that rubber adapter between the intake sides, it's pretty flappy. Is that typical, or is that spent as well?

Thanks

i'm in the middle of this due to a cracked fuel line. i opted to pull the entire intake so i can service the injectors and replace all of the gaskets and seals and clean everything up.

i'm also replacing the spacers and the rubber boot between the left and right side as they aren't too expensive...

Any advice on getting the gasket material off the head? Mostly it lifted off, but parts are stuck. Just wondering what the best way is.
