I didn't recognize it as a 68-70 and it's definitely not a 72.

Removable console and extra ports indicate for sure not newer than 73 and for sure not a 72

Sportomatic trans started in 68, so 68-71 sportomatic tank.

It's a 69-71 Sporto tank. I don't know about 68 Sporto, as standard '68 earlier tank was slightly different with the curve on the left in this picture.
