Advice on Steering Racks..

Hello Peeps. can some of you rack gurus eyeball these parts PLEASE and tell me if my interpretation is correct. see photos

The ZF rack, I think, is one that i bought quite awhile ago and had installed in my G-body 88 for awhile ( till it burned in my garage.. ugh). I bought it as a " short geared" rack from Red Dog Motorsports here on Pelican. and it seems that its about 2-1/4 turns lock to lock when i turn it on the bench.

The rack in my car now ( see the pic and serial numbers) i think is stock for my 77 tubed race car. lock to lock (tested while in the car) is at least 3 turns.

Is that consistent with a stock OEM 77 rack?

Will this ZF rack fit in place in the 77 tub, pretty. much plug and play?

Thanks very much for looking. FRank.
