I need to re case my 993 motor
 

Is Waynes new engine book going to help me as far as re assembly of a 993 motor? If not what are the differences?

I am curious, what happened to the 993 motor?

The case was repaired and is weeping oil in the weld, not much, about a dime - quarter size spot after a day. I knew this when I bought the engine which was rebuild. I know the shop that did the work. I figured for the price I could re assemble it with upgrades in the new case I bought from Harald for the total cost not much more than a used 993 with 40K miles.
