Anyone know where I can find a place in the Charlotte NC area to make up a magnetic number decal for DE's ?

Thanks...

Check with one of your local sign shops.

Good luck

You can also simply buy them from Pegasus (www.pegasusautoracing.com). They sell both magnetic and adhesive white circles as well as letters and numbers in seven fonts an 14 colors, all in a variety of sizes. Mine work just fine.

Ace,

If by DE you are refering to a Drivers' Education Event, then most PCA regions (All that I've been to) assign you a number and a class letter (Number sometimes) and give you the adhesive number to place on the top of your windscreen.

If you are refering to Autocross, then I have been using magnetic numbers that I made myself for many years. Just use MS Word with the font size blown up to make very nice templates. BTW, use the thick 1 mm magnetic material if you make them yourself, or they will fly off the car.

Most Club racers either paint theirs on or use large decals purchased at one of the above mentioned stores.

Try your local motorcyle store. Look in the motocross area - they sell stick-on numbers in white or black, two [or more sizes], 3 to a pack, for around $6.

I live in Charlotte

Ace,

Where exactly do you live? I am on the east side towards Monroe and got a sign shop there to make numbers for me. Don't worry about letters as this region doesn't use them. Send me an email and I can dirct you to a couple of shops.
Glad to hear you are looking into DE. I'm sure I'll see you out there.
