And I thought rag tops were expensive!
Jeez, while looking for the front rubber stops for my Targa top (one of them has a chunk missing), I was perusing the other parts when I came across a new replacement top.
$6,500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() I think I'm going to install a LoJack in my top!!!!!!!!! ![]()

That is definitely on the high side from what I've seen! I remember seeing one where the guy put it on by himself and it was less than $2k!

Yes, a complete new top from Porsche is ridiculously expensive. However, you can buy a used core and have it professionally recovered for under $1000.

Tell them you only need one. Not the entire North American inventory.

Mine was under $2000 Canadian Funds.
$6500 US is OK if the rest of the car comes with it? Manual top with plastic rear window, fits to targa top windshield hardware..... very happy with it ![]() ![]()

Some people ask me why do we have that listed? To avoid people calling and asking "how much is a new top?"
![]() Never sold one, but we don't get any time-consuming questions either... -Wayne
