And I thought rag tops were expensive!

Jeez, while looking for the front rubber stops for my Targa top (one of them has a chunk missing), I was perusing the other parts when I came across a new replacement top.

$6,500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I'm going to install a LoJack in my top!!!!!!!!!

That is definitely on the high side from what I've seen! I remember seeing one where the guy put it on by himself and it was less than $2k!

Yes, a complete new top from Porsche is ridiculously expensive. However, you can buy a used core and have it professionally recovered for under $1000.

Tell them you only need one. Not the entire North American inventory.

Dan Pechtel is reputed to do excellent work. He was very helpful to me in quieting down my Targa top.

Mine was under $2000 Canadian Funds.
$6500 US is OK if the rest of the car comes with it?

Manual top with plastic rear window, fits to targa top windshield hardware..... very happy with it

Cool driveway and garden Rob. When do you find time to work on the car?
