Euro 3.0 L spark plug

Hi, I am looking for the proper spark plug for a 1978 Euro 3.0 L Type 930.03. It was transplanted in my 77 911 so I don't have the correct plug listing. Also, I prefer the Bosch WR platinums. Also, does any one know where to get specs on euro motors. Most sources I have checked only are for US motors, Thanks, Jerry

look for Bosch "Platin" spark plugs. It's a platinum spark plug that has a much larger electrode than the "Bosch Platinums"

W3DP0 is what the bosch catalog specifies.

The "0" on the end identifies the plug as a "platin"

I have a 83 euro cabrolet and have the same problem.
The small spec. books do have info on specs. (Porsche Technical Specifications 911SC, 911 Turbo Models 82,83)

I assume the earlier books have simular info.

The challenge is with parts. I found a "Pet" parts program on e-bay. This is software that was and maybe still is used by the dealers. It has sections for both US and European cars.

Many times the parts are the same. Where different they designate different parts for different engine designations.

(930/10 , 930/16 and so on.)

I had a real problem where the original european block in the car 930/10 was replaced with a 930/16. They kept the fuel injection system. This was by the previous owner. The new block was not documented so I am slowly learning what parts are inside.

Because of the block change, a later mechanic (Of the previous owner installed many wrong parts. It took me about a year since I owned this car to straighten this out. The europen Fuel Injection Parts are hard to find so it was recommended to me to use the Fuel Injection parts fro the 1979 US engines. Which were the last K-Basic CIS cars here in the US.

If you need help with a euro part number, let me know.
I can look it up!
Hope this helps!
