pcm3.1 for 991

Hi all. im a new owner of 2014 991, i had a problem with my PCM3.1 system [ after tried to install the apple play circuit board inside the pcm, now the system is not turn on at all ]. i want to buy a used pcm3.1 on ebay for replacement, all cables behind the used pcm and the buttons are the same as my system.the question is does the replacement unit just plug and play or required dealer service.Please advise
