oil tank sender leak... at the post or wire hookup. pic inside

I'm attempting to find out why this is leaking in this spot.

The oil leaks out of that stud and onto the wire then down the wire (only after a drive will there be a slight drip on the floor after sitting) as you can see making it dirty. This was a fresh hot tank, respray and all new seal. The oil sending unit is older but works well.

Has anyone ever seen this before? I searched but couldn't find anything on this particular leak.

Thanks for any help/advice!

Probably needs a new gasket - I think there are two styles of gasket - one rubber and the other cork. I just replaced the oil level sender unit - new cork gasket - have not racked up enough miles to say that no leaks..

I have a leak in the same spot. No enough to drip but dirty there. Going to replace with cork gasket when I accumulate enough parts needs for free shipping.
