Someone please help with CIS vacuum lines

jeez, this ****s like a small maze! Okay, I used this diagram to reroute most of the stuff on the left side, but I still have 3 open ends and 1 t-fitting. One of them is on the back of the throttle body (facing the front of the car, pointed a tad to the right), another is coming off of a gold thing that sticks up and is mounted to the throttle body (item 7 on the diagram I used) and the final one is coming from a round silver piece that's to the side of the distributor (pointing down and toward the rear of the car). I'm almost positive that I can hook these three up and all will be well, but for piece of mind and the fact that this forum is available with so many helpful people I thought I'd post it here and see if you guys could help. Furthermore, if there is anyone who lives in the San Fernando Valley area with an SC and doesn't mind me swinging by to take a look at your engine bay real quick, I would infinitely appreciate it.

Hmm, interesting. Well, I hooked it up like the first diagram and just went with my gut and connected the rear of the throttle body to #7 on the diagram that I linked to and then with a T-fitting hooked those to the distributor. The idles back down and the car runs very well, but when cold it sounds like it has a real lopey cam at idle. I turned the idle up and now it hangs steady at 850-900 when warm and runs great.

later,

amir

ZAMIRZ-there's throttle vacuum(before the butterfly), port/progressive vacuum(venturi wall hidden by the closed butterfly), and manifold vacuum.
A vacuum meter is a good diagnostic tool and will tell you which is which in doubt. The manifold should read 18-22 in/hg at idle and I'll try to dig up a chart about how to read sticking valves/mixture off etc.
