Removing old carpet, found this!

Found what appears to be a broken molar underneath the rear seat cushion in my 1984 Carrera. Man the 80s were craaaaaaazy

So what's the weirdest thing you've found?

Found a Colt 357 magnum in back of my 930, right after Previous owner took out his jumper cables, and said "everything in the car is yours". I looked in a blown out cardboard box behind nthe passenger seat and pointing up at me is a stainless barrel. I think it was Colt King Cobra. I pulled it out of the box and held it up for his inspection..... He said "that's not my gun". At this point I am thinking I am holding some ditched murder weapon. Then he says, maybe that's my brothers gun. His brother had died 4 years prior. I gave him the gun back, wish I had kept it.

Hi Inrevinc- You've won. Full stop. I only found reading glasses and a "Julio Iglesias Greatest Hits" CD. This is truly awesome.

I cannot think of a reasonable explanation for that molar being there.

A pound nof weed when I worked at the dealer in the 70s. 45yo roaches in the ashtray of a 356 I bought that was stored since 1975. A huge bag of pills in a vw bus at the previous dealer job. Yup, the 70s were nuts.

I worked in dealerships also, but in the 90's. Weed, syringes (nasty and dangerous things to find), hollow-point bullets, hardcore porn. All of America's vices!

Can’t top the molar...lol

My first car 40 years ago was a barn find of sorts. When I tore out the 70’s shag carpeting, there was a bag with 2-3 dried out joints, and also a large ball peen hammer.

I still have the hammer...

911 - Razor blades in the ashtray.

On a related note - many years back my wife goes into labor, we jump in her car to head to the hospital, I'm driving of course, and I adjust her seat for my height. I hear something glass break and reach under the seat and pull out a broken crack pipe My wife is the most straight arrow person you would ever meet, with the stress of the situation we both started laughing so hard I thought she was going to pop out the baby right then.

My brother and I also found a crack pipe once, in an old BMW. The same car had a polaroid picture of a guy in the glovebox. The photo was unremarkable except for in the white at the bottom was written "me." Was he afraid he'd forget who it was?

Bought a Mercedes from Florida with a bullet hole in the passenger seat front to rear with stains in the back seat flooring..... strange, the seller never mentioned that.

Not from my 911, but just a few months ago while digging through a box that had been stored in my '66 VW van that had sat in a field for 9 years then in storage for the next 6 years, I found a brand new package of Home Depot N-95 masks. How timely was that! It was like hitting the lottery!

Never found anything as remotely as exciting. Just lots of receipts. While cleaning my pickup truck out I collected a pile of spent casings from everywhere. I stash little things away in my cars now for future owners to find. Things like parking stubs in interesting places, business cards from service shops, little breadcrumbs for some future person to reconstruct the life of the car.

Years ago, I bought an early Alfa Romeo Gulia spider. When I pulled the interior out during restoration, I found a squirrel skeleton under one of the front seats. I also found the cylinder head and transmission in the trunk, but that's another story.

Awesome! Any reason to think that the previous owner was named Leonard Shelby?
