G50 conversion results
I drove my car a couple time now that the conversion is done. I can say that the G50 shifts way better than the 915 did. Not that shifting the 915 was bad but more like a task that you had to do. The G50 is a pleasure to shift. Now I just have to figure out why the *****ty CIS goes full rich when cold. I see EFI

Congrats on accomplishing something many of us with crappy shifting 915s dream of. So - how much did you end up spending on the whole thing?

Do you have to keep the hydraulic clutch w/ the G50? Or can you stay cable?

I did everything myself except the machining of the bellhousing and input shaft. It cost between $4 and 5k.
Yes you have to have the hyd. clutch. Also you have to remember that in certain cars you have to move the motor. So it might be wise to go with coil-overs
