Third brake light
Hey gang...
Can I have some feed back on the third brake light! Which is the best one to use?? Inside top ...inside low...rear lid mounted??? I am a novice, but I feel I can handle mounting the rear lid type, but I would have to drill the lid and I really dont want to. I like the inside top mount, but were do I run the wires to get to the engine compartment?? Do I have to remove the rear seat? Will it block my vision in the rearview mirror? Some feed back would greatly help. Thanks all

Great thread on the subject here:
How to: 3rd brake light install I went out and got one for $18 (much cheaper than bulky OEM part) after reading this. Haven't mounted it up yet though, i'll probably remove the side ear mounts and stick to glass with black double sided tape. Very low profile and little vision blockage - although I am concerned about red glare across the rear glass when on. I may fab up a surround piece if it's an issue.
