R lightweight door handles on a G body?!

Hello,

anyone converted these kind of lightweight R door handles (plastic) to e.g. an SC? with lock?

if yes, what parts do I need to convert that my G-locks/handles don't carry along?

thank you.

Wouldn't look nice, IMO.
There are plastic handles like the std on you car, takes some searching.

I have these on my car. It’s been a couple of years since I installed them. The only thing I remember was I had to play around with the spring length to get them to work properly. Everything else remained stock on the sc door. I did delete the lock.

Also had them on my orange C3.o. They are a mount and forget thing, quite cool. More to be able to say they are there than for actual weight savings.

They sure are cool George, and very unknown pieces. IŽve had several ŽexpertsŽ tell me those doorhandles couldnŽt possibly exist...
Ah yes, your old orange C3.o, one of my favourite old school hotrods! I tried to buy it from John way back when, before prices got stupid Another regret haha!
