911 PPI in Denver?
Any reccomendations on where to get a PPI done on an early 911 in Denver. I'm thinking of buying my first and want to make sure the money pit isn't too large

Carquip comes to mind. They're a little bit north of Denver on the outscrits of Boulder. Its worth it just to see their collection of parts outback.
Their number is (303)443-1343 Tony Z

We have lots of good shops in Denver. Heck I might check it out for you just for grins. Denver proper, Storz, Eisenbuds, Eurosport (2 under that name both good)and DART Auto. All are in the phone book or can located using Qwestdex.com.
How old and what model? If it is still MFI, you just have to move to Denver because John Eisenbud is one of the best MFI tuners in the country, and taking a MFI 911 away from his jurisdiction will surely send you to Porsche h*ll! Let me know.

Thanks guys.
Tony, I'm at Buckley AFB outside Denver. zotman72, I'm still waiting on the seller to return my e-mail with more details (and to make sure it's still available). All I know now is that it's a 73 911T coupe. Not sure if it's MFI or CIS (or been replaced) but I was hoping MFI and am even more so now after your post. It's listed on cars.com at http://www.cars.com/search/used/cc/standard/results/single/ld/detail.jhtml?paId=123504904&aff=national&src=&cid=null Thanks again for the help guys. If this one doesn't work out I'll still be looking for another so your reccomendations will come in very handy.

I have been very happy with the service at Eurosport in Littleton. I'd also suggest you join the PCA (Rocky Mtn Region). You will meet a lot of people and get to see a lot of cars.

My turn,
There is also a gentleman selling a 73 Targa, see the cars for sale here on Pelican. It sounds like a real bargain but my wife would probably be upset with me....at least until I get my 73 back together. Either way, nice to see more Coloradans with enough time to be on here. If you are at Buckley I hope you are aware how close you are to Second Creek Raceway. Check out the Rocky Mountain Region of the PCA website and head out to one of the track events. If you are looking for something to do later this afternoon.....I am r&ring my rear suspension on my 73. The beer is free if you want to come help or just hang out while I do the work.
