alternator air guide questions
 

I pulled my air guide off and one of the metal guides is broke/missing. I have this other one randomly which I think is off an 84. It looks like I can use the plastic guides on my 80 guide (base). What do you guy think about swapping the metal ones for the newer plastic ones?
