Hi all
Hope everyone has had a good holiday.
I'm a newbie to air cooled engines, to start. Am in the midst of sorting out the engine bay looking to change out CIS to either Bitz or ITBs. After reading and reading, omegle xender I realize that I have a Permatune setup, but no idea what this 'coil' is (blue arrow), which is connected to the Permatune CDI box, nor the adjacent silver cannister (red arrow) which I thought might be a fuel filter but it's not connected to the accumulator. Any ideas? I realize I can't use the Bitz system with Permatune, so trying to sort this out for next steps. Thanks!

No reason you can’t use a Permatune CDI ignition with Bitz.
Bitz is fuel only. Takes a tach signal from the coil.
