1970 2.2E restoration - 3 month update
Progress has been slow in April as I took 3 weeks off to replace a couple of bathrooms. Work resumed after finding an excellent used parcel shelf at the Husborne Crawley autojumble, along with a pair of door pockets, bilstein struts, an engine cover and various other parts.
The rear shelf and bulkhead was badly corroded where water had entered through a poor rear screen seal ![]() An hour with the angle grinder ![]() This is the £20 replacement panel ![]() Now welded in and painted ![]() Al the welding work is now completed and preparation for paint starts today ![]() |
