1970 2.2E restoration - 3 month update

Progress has been slow in April as I took 3 weeks off to replace a couple of bathrooms. Work resumed after finding an excellent used parcel shelf at the Husborne Crawley autojumble, along with a pair of door pockets, bilstein struts, an engine cover and various other parts.

The rear shelf and bulkhead was badly corroded where water had entered through a poor rear screen seal

An hour with the angle grinder

This is the £20 replacement panel

Now welded in and painted

Al the welding work is now completed and preparation for paint starts today
