ID this air box - 69 or 70?
Hello all, I'm planning to offer this for sale (my project took a substantial turn....) but I don't know what its original application was.
All parts of this are steel, not plastic, but I cannot find any date codes or stampings on it to indicate a part number or date code. From what I can tell in the PET it's somewhere from 69-71 and most likely from an MFI car, based on the fact it has cold start nozzles (but only on cylinders 1 & 4?). The baseplates match up to an early magnesium MFI intake but appear also to have vent holes for carb float bowls. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Ok so I think I've narrowed this down to 70 and 71 - only question is it for an E/S only, or a 911T only? Or all three? It has the fire starter nozzles hooked up but there don't appear to be any holes in the spray bars.....
I think I might have to post on the Early S forum.....
