Window channel replacement
I just got my window frames powder coated and now I need to install my new rubber window channel. The original ones were glued in so what should I use to glue in the new ones?

3M Super weatherstrip adhesive is the go to glue for that type of application.

No glue at all on the new ones I installed last year. The new parts fit very snugly.

John Walker's recommendation worked for me:
Throw the rubber away and use Sikaflex 291 to glue it in the channel. Get the glass and the channel clean and free of old glue, clean with solvent, then use the 291. |
