924 Gauges and indicators in a 911?
Hi all,
How interchangeable are the gauges and indicator lights between a 924 and 911? I've found a source for a 924 voltmeter and the OXS indicator light I'm missing. Would I be able to use a 924 OXS indicator in place of the 911 specific part? For the voltmeter, I'm considering fabricating a mount in place of the ash tray and don't see any reason I couldn't use a 924 voltmeter. Am I missing something? Any input would be apprecaited! Thanks |

The voltmeter should work in any car.
Two connections - hot wire and ground. Mounting in the ashtray indent is a good idea - I have done several gauge placements there. Oxygen sensor is a different animal and is made to communicate to the specific DME. I think. Bill K

I put a voltmeter and USB port in my ashtray. Looks stock when closed.
