Power Window Regulator Stop Wedge
Can anyone provide a picture of the rubber stop wedge that sits on the inside bottom of the door for a 911SC? According to PET it is part # 901.542.063.00. I think these were only installed with power window optioned cars. I converted from manual to power windows (my doors did not have them) and would like to see how they are installed. Thanks. R//TEM

I just got done rehabbing the seals on my ‘76 Targa and noticed I didn’t have this wedge. I think it was only in later cars with power windows as you mentioned. I used the video below on getting my bearings for how to remove the glass.
Towards the end (8:30ish), he pulls the wedge out of the door. I did a little bit of research on this and it’s just wedged in there and can be held in place with a bit of putty. It basically sits right where the parallel arm pivot would hit the sheet metal. https://youtu.be/n8l-7NgGh0A |

Rubber wedge is attached through the bottom of the door with two Allen head screws on my '77 Targa with electric windows. Hope this helps.
