71T oil hose issues
Hi All,
I'm restoring a 71T from boxes. That means I get the occasional wrong parts in the mix. The engine is a 2.2T 71 engine, not original to the car. I am at the last leg of restoration and will shortly put the engine and trans into the car. I am about to put the oil hose to the pump end under the left heat exchanger. The connectors does not match. The hose (90110733112) has got a female end with approx 25 mm inner diameter. The male connector on the hose got approx 30 mm outer diameter. Before ordering parts, is it as easy as I got the wrong connector piece? Looking at the PET i find two different ones. Connection piece 90013601302 for my 71 and 99913600809 for -72. Looking at images the first is smaller. Appreciate any input! Jörgen Forssling Gothenburg SWEDEN ![]() ![]() |

![]() ![]() The 71 911 has 26mm Lines FROM the Motor to the Tank and 30mm lines TO the motor from the Tank. Easiest way is to change the OUTLET fitting at the engine case (Pump end), unless you want to upgrade to an auxiliary front oil cooler. I am happy to help (by email only, NO pm's please) if you have questions. len.cummings at verizon.net ![]() |
