Quick jack 7000

Will the 7000 lb version of the Quickjack work with a 911? I would like to use it with my 5600 lb truck as well.

I just ordered them. They said you need the cross bar for the front of the 911.

The 5000 XLS definitely works, but you need to position it inside of the tires.

Easiest way to check is look at the specs on the QuickJack website. They should indicate the range of lengths that are possible for setting the blocks. If the range of the 5000 XLS is within the 7000, you should be fine.

I’m curious about this cross bar thing. I need to look into that, must be a new accessory.

as long as your truck has exposed rails, which it likely does, you should be fine with SLX model. The limitation to the quick jack is the lift point spread. I bought the 7000SLX hoping to use on the cayenne as well, but the spread of the wouldn't allow me to line up with with lifting pucks on the cayenne (or X5) and there are no rails, just a lot of plastic panels. As Mark mentioned, check the website for measurements and verify it works on what you intend to use it on. If I would have spent a little more time verifying all my needs, I may have gone down the maxjax route instead. Basically a two post, but allows for portability of the legs. You could set the wall side and leave it, but move the leg near the center to give better garage room/access when not in use. I would certainly check it out if you have a wide variety of lifting needs.

I have the 7000 SLX and use it on my '77. I have found better luck using them "across", rather than "front-to-back". The wheel base is so short that if you don't get them just right, it hits the tires when you raise the car and it binds.
