Since no one else has replied I'm going to say tan. Seriously, just tell whom ever your ordering from your year and color and I'm sure they know. If they dont then I probably wouldn't order from them.

Its hard to tell from the pic, but I think that is called Champagne.

some of the glossy mags part suppliers have interior color charts in them, you might want to grab one for comparision.

gotta love the top down stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (especially in NJ now, where its 75 and sunny) I gotta go and leave work to take ride

According to the Red Book, (assuming) its leather, options in 1987 were Champagne and Linen.
If its leatherette, it would be Linen (no Champagne leatherette was available)

Thanks, guys. I ordered the beige shift knob from the dealer, it's the wrong color.

Unless you are a stickler for stock, MOMO makes a much more comfortable shifter which is quite understated and somewhat lipped, which feels better than the round ball. It probably wouldn't cost much more (or less) than a stock POrsche part.

I have champagme in my 88 turbo cab and your color looks a full shade lighter. It might be, but I would have to vote no on it being champagne.

I'm pretty sure it's called gray-beige. I have that on my '86 and it looks just like your photo. I'm just too lazy to check right now to see if that color was available in '87 but I'll check just as soon as that chocolate cake I ate earlier works its way through.
