Drive it out with the fork angled out so the pin doesn't hit the case and jamb things up.
Stick a punch in the fork hole to line up the shaft notch, them pull down on the fork to keep it in position, pull the punch out and tap the pin in.

Your talking about the release fork pin? I just did this job..
I tapped it from the inside, then realized I have to take the
Guide tube off and tap the pin again with Allen key ( use the
Short end to gain more room). Shaft came off..
I have a question though.. I forgot to mark the fork orientation
With the clutch arm under the trans.. can somebody verify?
Thanks

don`t forget to put on the shaft the rubber seal ..i like to put on top and bottom for easier will be just the bottom under the fork and plenty of lubrication on the shaft...

What John said. I put a small block of oak between one of the fork tines and the case to keep the fork angled such that the pin doesn't drive into the case, and that I have a good angle to tap. I have a set of ball-head punches from Snap-on that work well with these tension pins.

When re-installing, "back light" the fork and bellcrank with a flashlight, look through the hole in the fork to see, thanks to the light, that you're lined up correctly with the radius in the bellcrank.

I use a high pressure grease, light smear, where the bellcrank rides on its three bushings in the case. And I use a thick anti-seize on the splines. Cutting a seized fork off its bellcrank is a joyless process.

Yes I got it out and replaced. There were a few choice words getting the pin back in but I persevered!! I am sure the German engineer who designed this is smiling or laughing his ass off!
