fresh air blower

I am rebuilding the fresh air blower unit on my 1987 Porsche 911 carrera. I would like to rebuilt the flaps inside the housing that open and close and control the air flow. The rubber seals are completely worn (see pics). Can they be purchased? Thanks

I could not find them in the PET when I refurbished my unit last year. I ended up making a pair out of an old mouse pad.

I did something similar a few years ago. I found some on E-bay that someone had made. The "mouse pad" foam is a good idea if you have something to cut the circle well.

For those who are interested using black foam works perfectly to restore the flaps. I am attaching the picture.
Thanks again for the suggestion.

What thickness neoprene or foam and where did you locate it?

I tried a sheet of rubber that is 1/8" thick, but that is too thick with that material

Thanks !

i repurposed a piece of the black foam - traditionally used to line the bottom of a tool box tray.
worked perfectly.

I used 1/16" rubber sheeting found in the local hardware store plumbing department to cut the circles. I wish it were black, but ....

Seals very well and will last far longer than foam.
