Help mounting Hella 500’s on 911SC

Hey guys. trying to come up with some ideas on how to mount Hella 500 series lights to my impact bumper car. My thoughts are either to drill a hole in the bottom of the bumper and mount them upside down (I read about the drain holes). Or, do I come up with some sort of plate or bar to bolt to drilled holes on the under side of the bumper and then mount the lights in front of the bumper. I feel like I have to be missing something. Has anyone else done this?

I guess there is a reason large round lights get drilled through And bolted to the hood.
