No Porsche tax today.

My front had developed a wobble at 60 mph, so I figured it needed a balancing. Took it one place, no habla...second place filled with millennials.

Oh Jesus, I pointed out the oil lines....stay away, verbotten....pointed out the alloy nuts, please no air tools, has to tell them the correct torque....had to bring out the fargin old guy who could drive a stick. Stalled it four times trying to get it on the alignment rack. Everything else was four point lifts and wouldn't clear the oil lines.

Both wheels had lost the balancing weights 1.5 and 1.75 ounces. Probably due for some new rubber. After schmoozing the staff they let me back it off the rack NO, I did not stall it.

Got it done for free. Took the tech around the deserted parking lot and showed him how to drift a 911. His peeps filmed it.....

Another good day.

Do you have a copy of the “test drive?” Post it for the rest of us to see.

He has my number. Hopefully he will send the clip. I'm sending a handful of Pegasus skeleton graphics as a thank you.

Were the Spanish speaking folks or the millenials not capable of understanding your oil line and lug nut instructions or did you simply write them off for speaking a foreign language or being young(ish)? Asking for a freind.

No they were native southerners They didn't understand me. So I did have to repeat myself. I was calm and respectful not like I am here.

An argument for removing the wheels / tires and bringing them loose. Take before pics too.

I am a millennial and an old p car owner.
I’m always shocked by the amount of lazy old guys that won’t remove their own wheels and bring just the wheel in to avoid issues.... and you know, for a free $0 labor charge.

My floor jack and my 4 roll away tool boxes are back in Colorado storage. I don't have a floor jack and a bad back makes using the cheap ass crank style jack dangerous to my remaining discs in my lower spine.

As to my comments on millennials. They were tongue in cheek at best. Let me add another. "Thinned skinned". At least on this board.
