Easy H4 Headlight Upgrade
If you still have the original headlight set up on your 911, I would recommend you look into the H4 bulb and relay upgrade for our cars. Taking the load off the dash switch, and increasing the amount of light on the road is so worth it.
All the parts can be picked up at our Host, and only takes about 2-3 hours to install. Here is a short video on how to handle the upgrade. Video Link: https://youtu.be/cKbnzhkmCos Brian ![]() |

Suggestion/hint. Put painters tape down around the headlight before starting, perhaps more than one layer. Helps protect paint from scratches if something slips while doing the work.

Good time to swap out all the rubber as well. The upgrade makes a marked difference.

I noticed you mentioned it was for your '67 912 and it appears you are using a 178mm lens. Would you know if that is the same size for a 3.2?

For those not married to the Bosch H4 setup, you can simply replace your sealed beams with the E Code Hella replacement H4 lamps. I did this with my car, and even with the stock wattage bulbs the improvement is significant.
