3D Printed Solutions: Vitaloni Mirrors & Phone Holder
Thought everyone would be interested in some 3D prints I've made recently to solve a few problems. See below! these are the first working designs/prints - so they may go through some other iterations - but so far they work fine as is.
Phone holder: 2 piece design - a carrier ring around the boost gauge with a stand off, and a phone backing plate. The backing plate has two recessed cutouts on the back that hold a few rare earth magnets. My phone has an adhesive metal plate on the back that the magnets like. Currently using some adhesive sandpaper to add grip. Going to replace with some black grip tape soon. ![]() ![]() Vitaloni Sebring mirrors: This is the second design iteration. The first one was a holder that held the flat some of the mirrors horizontal. I think it looks a bit silly, so I made a second holder that holds the mirror at a 15 degree angle to horizontal. I may go even further. The print pilots around the flag holder 'nub'. I'm running a bit low on M4 hardware - so don't give me too hard of a time for the various screw lengths ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() More than happy to share these files - but print at your own risk! - Ian |
