Hood latch picture request
 

Hey good morning everyone, this is going to sound like a ridiculous request but would it be possible to post an image of the hood cracked so I can see how the hooked part falls into the latching mechanism.

I am Installing a carbon hood from Getty and as usual didn’t take pictures before removing the latch from the other hood. I got it stuck shut last night and by some miracle was able to get it open by jiggling it around. This is a very simple design so it’s a little upsetting that it’s defeating me.

Never mind guys!! It’s getting there, I had to use the dremel and reshape holes a little so I could shift it a little. Also, I think I will 3D print a thin shim to go between the latch and the hood because I can get it to close but it’s really tight. I don’t want that much force on the threaded inserts in the hood, I fear they may pull out.
